Book quality
Bought for ₹407. There is No Tear or print error (there is minor scratches on cover; but it's acceptable) I covered up the book cover with translucent polithin so that it protects it form scratches. Go for it.

The paper quality was good and crisp and the bindings were proper but only one side of the cover at bottom has a little damage

Pristine condition
I searched everywhere for this edition but it was sold out. The book arrived in perfect condition, despite being such a thick paperback the edges were intact, the spine was not broken.Its a original copy (not a first copy like I was dreading). I was skeptical that the pages were gonna be yellow, but the pages look completely pristine! You can buy it without any hesitation 🥹

Excellent book
Red this when I was 15-16 years old. Bought this for my granddaughter. Hope she will like it too. I watched French, Italian, Russian, and US movies The Count of Monte Cristo. Do you know that Alexandre Dumas wrote 400 or 500 books and novels? There is no person in the world who managed to read all of Dumas' books. If my granddaughter likes it, the next will The Three Musketeers, Twenty Years After, Ten Years After, The Man in the Iron Mask, Queen Magot, Black Tulip, The forty-five guardsmen.

Capolavoro, ma e' veramente la famosa versione non censurata? ho qualche dubbio.
Ovviamente come sappiamo e' un capolavoro. Sebbene dubito che sia veramente una versione integrale e senza censure, in quanto avevo sentito parlare di temi clerici censurati che non ho veramente visto. Ma non essendo sicuro lascio 5 stelle.

A magnificent classic
This book is a very long read (1243 pages) but very worth it. Although it is an exciting adventure story full of complex plots, it is, much more than that. It deals with many themes that define us as human beings such as man's inhumanity to man, love, cruelty, kindness, courage, revenge, suicide, justice, God's will, happiness, politics, self-identity, hope, religious faith, and actual historical events. This book held my interest from beginning to end. The English translation by Robin Buss is excellent. There are explanatory notes. I highly recommend this Penguin edition of 'The Count Of Monte Cristo'.
