I bought this cushion years ago for my back and it worked great. Then a friend told me she used hers as a seat cushion when she flew on long airline flights, so I started flying with it and she was 100% correct. I cut the strap off and also used it as a seat cushion both in the car and in my bed when I had such excruciating sciatica that I could not get comfortable without it. My sciatica has finally disappeared, but I still use the cushion under my butt and upper thighs when I sleep and I get a better night’s sleep every single time I use it. I’m ordering another one today because I finally wore the old one out after all these years. The secret is to not over-inflate, but use just one puff of breath in it so that it doesn’t look inflated until you go to sit on it and the pressure points are all cushioned by just that tiny amount of air. Great invention!!
