I got this for my anxious teen when they said the weighted blanket they were using was making them hot. This is a good alternative and they said that it's helping them fall asleep faster and not making them hot.

Soft and soothing, this weighted neck wrap is just what I need for helping myself relax at night. I am very anxious and restless in the evenings. I have also tried countless techniques to calm down: deep breathing, distracting myself, etc but nothing really works. I "feel" my anxiety and stress mostly in my shoulders, neck and in my chest around my collar bone. I've never tried any type of weighted product before and finally decided to pull the trigger. I put this wrap around these areas and it's like an instant soothing sensation. I also slept with it draped over my neck and shoulder, it felt wonderful! I wish I would have invested in something like this years ago.Edit: I’ve owned this for almost a year (4 lb) and just want to report it’s held up great and it’s STILL amazing for anxiety. Great alternative for a weighted blanket. I get way too hot with the blanket. With this I can just lay it across my shoulders or chest when I sleep. Great quality.

I have a tendency to carry my stress in my shoulders, this helps immensely with my shoulder pain.
