Thanks in advance!** A: Yes...A WiFi will often be incredibly high. This is also true of a running laptop or computer. You will get very high readings from your cell phones too. Your household appliances such as refrigerator, oven(if electrical), running microwaves, etc. will also be high. The K2 will also pick up emf from magnets(especially neodyiums). The K2 will also pick up tiny emf readings from electrical outlets and def televisions. Emf is a free floating type of energy...meaning it can begin in your basement and flow through to your first floor and even continue up to second floor. Also, K2 will pick up on any EMF coming from your walls even outside walls if your electrical wiring is not up to code:if you get readings from your walls call an electrician. High EMF can cause a lot of physical types of illness. If you get high K2 reading from your walls this is serious:the wiring is not properly containing the energy and can cause a fire. But I found this gives readings of the electrical discharges in the air from appliances and tech items such as microwave ovens and computers, anything electrical will cause it to light up. I think it is reading simple electric fields rather than electromagnetic fields, and yet I do think if spirits are present they can work the lights in this item. I now sleep with my head toward the center of the room instead of near the wall where all the electrical current is. Yes this lights up all the time around any electrical items or electric cords and outlets. I've found it more useful and practical for that than ghost hunting. I really am glad I got this.
