It doesn't really hold the iPad well, it often slips. Mine came a bit banged up.I'd say just get the Smart Cover from Apple.

Elastic strap loses all its elasticity in a year.
I like the case, but the elastic strap that holds it closed wears out in about a year. And there is no way to repair/replace it. It seems like a design flaw to have a non-replaceable part that wears out so soon on a premium priced iPad case. I contacted Dodo, they said the best they could do is offer 20% off if I bought another $80 case from them (plus tax and shipping). Hm.
