This was the correct part and worked perfectly. The replacement procedure is extreme (near complete disassembly required) but the part itself was great.

Exact fit for hp laptop
Original fan in customer’s HP laptop was spinning slowly causing the temperature to spike. This part fit perfectly and now the temps are back to normal.

Working perfectly in my g7 laptop. This replacement matches the original hp exactly in size and shape. I initially had a problem with the Eathtek replacement I ordered, it did not have the matching snap on tabs and did not function properly. Will update in the future.

description states it will fit G7, it does not. The mounting hole configuration is wrong. Back it goes...
