I've used it twice so far to test it before my trip to St.Croix. After all the reviews and price comparison I decided on Octobermoon. My first test was in calm water. The mask itself performed pretty good. I had minimal leaking in the middle of my forehead and that was I was moving fast. The lens didn't fog and the dry snorkel stayed dry when I went under and opened right up as soon as I surfaced. My second time out the results were a little different. I do believe this is more due to environmental conditions. The water was a little choppy and a little cooler. The mask leaked a bit more this time out in the same place. I don't expect a mask to be completely leak free unless I pay more than $100. The mask did fog up however. This had more to do with water temperature but a mask should not say completely fog resistant unless it really is. That is why 4*. Don't let that hold you back from buying it. The greatest part of this mask is NO UNCOMFORTABLE MOUTH PIECE. Any person who has snorkel for more than 30 minutes knows how uncomfortable that mouth piece can become after even 10 minutes. Even the best snorkel still get uncomfortable after a while. For someone like me who really enjoys being in the water that's a major plus. I bought anti fog spray just in case for my trip.

I ordered 4 masks of various sizes and colors. Upon receiving the masks just days before our vacation one mask was incorrect color and size. I contacted Octobermoon and within the hour, I was refunded and a new mask was being shipped. I received the correct mask two days later.We used the masks in the Florida Keys. They are far superior for snorkeling over the traditional masks. Our family of consists of an 18 yo, 16 yo and two parents (no need to age us). We all agree that these masks were awesome. We could actually talk to each other clear as day while snorkeling. No fogging up. No unusual leaking (over the course of literally hours of snorkeling a day small amounts of water would get in). The view was superior to traditional mask as well. The snorkel itself has a float which prevent water from entering when I decided to dive down a bit. I will tell you, these masks don't allow you to dive as deep as a traditional mask does.All in all, the Octobermoon Company has earned my respect with the quick and polite communication and backing of their product. We recommended these masks to many many vacationers who inquired. If you are considering a new mask for snorkeling, look no farther.

I will start by saying that my wife really likes hers, which is the white one, but otherwise the same. Mine leaks from the top. No matter what I do, I cannot make it stop leaking when I go under water. Another concern I have is that the snorkel tube that clips onto the top does not stay clipped. It is like the little tab that the clip is supposed to clip onto is not tall enough. You can push the little clip down and force it to clip, but it just immediately pops back up and unclips itself. This seems to be just the way of things as we ordered 3 of these, and they are all the same. It does not seem to make a difference for my wife as she really likes hers and even though it unclips, it seems to stay together anyway. I do love the style, the 180­° views is really nice, and they are "Virtually" fog free. If mine did not leak, I would have given another star, and if the clips worked correctly, I would have given the full 5 stars.

I have several full face masks and they are generally great. I never plan to use the traditional equipment I have again. However, I am disappointed in this one due to the incredible distortion you get with the fully curved lens. I'm amazed that I hadn't seen this mentioned in reviews. Depth perception is completely shot and it's a bit disorienting. They are still useable but might get pitched anyway. Go with the flat lens.

Absolutely love our snorkeling masks, the only thing i don't like is, they throw your depth perception off. Meaning, everything seems so close and yet its not. We first tried then out in our pool. At 8.5 feet in the deep end, you honestly felt like you were only in 2 feet of water and that you could just touch the bottom of the pool. Other than that, they are awesome.

we had a blast using the mask in Florida! there was a mix up in shiping and Octobermoon gave us a credit right away! great customer service! we've decided we need flippers and will only buy from them after this experience! oh! all my nieces and nephews used the mask as well! so it worked great for ages 8-50 for us:) we went with large.

Took it to the gym and tried it out while doing my laps. Loved it! Was able to focus on my strokes and proper body alignment. You may look like an space explorer, but being able to breath through my nose while swimming is wonderful. Heading to O'ahu in July to celebrate my 50th, can't wait to use it.

They work ok unless you are trying to dive underwater
