I, Ladybug, Destroyer of Worlds
I decided to go the ladybug route when several weeks of sprays and neem oil didn't seem to put a dent into the mealybug infestation in my sweet potato vine. Well, these ladybugs did the trick.Do make sure and ready plenty of reviews for tips and of course follow the directions on the container. I did not have an issue with ladybugs dying in transit and after a spritz with water and an afternoon in the fridge, I let my first batch out per the directions, at dusk.Just as user Red mentioned in her review, releasing the ladybugs is a bit of organized chaos. I found the best way was, after watering the plants that you want them to "assist" with, the best way was to lightly brush or flick them off the container as they crawl around the edge, or blow them off. If you get a clump ready to climb out, a good shake will do it.That said, I let a ton out on that first batch - they definitely wake up a bit and then you are just trying to get the damn lid closed before losing too many. I saw lady bugs from that first batch for 3-4 days after and I did try to lightly water each night so they had a water source. The only thing I didn't get clarification on was when to release the next batch. The package says over the course of 1-2 weeks, but I didn't see any care instructions, so I didn't push my luck and released the rest over the next week. Its nearly two weeks after applying my last batch and I have yet to see anymore mealybugs and there are still a few ladybugs hanging around.Long story short, these ladybugs kick ass and will utterly destroy your pests.

Good experience
Ladybugs do indeed look like the North American kind. 99% arrived alive to South Florida in October. Followed the directions exactly for release. They were active and immediately got to work. The following morning a lot of them were still there. Some did die, and some did fly away. Probably at the end of their life cycle. Others are mating. I have an insect hotel, so hopefully the rest will stay. I got the 1500 pack in case some didn't make it.Update 10/12:All of the ladybugs are gone. They either flew away or died. I did some research on how to make them stay. Make a ladybug feeder out of a piece of bamboo and put raisins inside of it. I will be ordering more ladybugs and trying out the feeder.

Lively lady bugs
Originally had a mishap and the mailman killed all my ladybugs, but the owner was so kind to send me a replacement at their own expense. The new package had a ton of happy lively little bugs. After I couple weeks I can already tell a difference in whatever was eating my roses leaves!

Amazing little creatures.
Used them indoor at first they loved the 1/2 piece of pvc pipe for a house. That made it easier than i thought it would be to release them in the garden. All seemed healthy, active and very thirsty when they arrived. Don't know how they count them, i ordered 300 could have been 500 in there for all i know lol.. i will order next year again.

Perfect solution
My patio plants were being attacked by aphids and other small insects so I bought 3containers of ladybugs. They arrived today and were well packaged in a plastic container with a lid with breathing holes and place in a net bag. Once I opened the package and let them out they easily adapted to my plants. They are flying around my plants and immediately seemed at home. They were active and vibrant ladybugs ready to go. A great solution.

Holy toledo, batman!
The media could not be loaded. So, previously I've ordered ladybugs from other sellers and they've been maybe 50% alive on arrival. That was NOT the case with these. They're boxed/packaged for ventilation and I couldn't see the bottom of the tubs to tell if there were any casualties of transit, but there were so many that I don't think I'd notice anyways. They were quite lively, and I loved the bag because I do NOT love the thought of bugs in flights- in mass numbers- flying into my hair. 🤣 I opened the bag, and then I opened the tub inside the bag. I placed one (after watering) at the base of my tomatoes and one at the base of my wildflower garden. It was shortly after dusk, but hopefully they're out in my garden hunting away! I have not noticed a bug issue- I've noticed a SPIDER issue... so the ladybugs are an attempt to eliminate the spider's food sources from my garden without pesticides. I do hattteeeee me some spiders so I really hope this helps! 🙏

Not a dead bug in this batch!
I was really skeptical they would be alive since these were being delivered to hot Phoenix but was very happily surprised. Not a dead bug in the bunch. They happily went to town on all the aphids on my plants.

Almost all alive!!! Very happy
They were native lady beetles! Even though delivery person placed in the sun almost all were alive. Immediately placed them in fridge. In the morning hosed down plants and released ladybugs. So far so good!!!
