Good price but lasted a couple of years

I purchased this as a replacement for a broken outdoor motion sensor for flood lights. After reading through electrical contractor forums, it became apparent that reliable outdoor motion sensors with a long lifespan do not exist at an affordable price.To make matters more difficult I needed a sensor:A). compatible with LED flood lights (not all outdoor sensors work with LED’s)B). that works on the same branch circuit as a garage door opener.I was ready to pony up and try my luck with one of the expensive, commercial grade sensors, but even those aren’t recommended for use on a branch circuit with a high draw, motorized appliance. This, I decided to try my luck with this inexpensive model, figuring it’ll need to be replaced sooner rather than later.I’ve had it installed for about 2 months and so far, so good. The coverage isn’t quite 180-degrees, but it’s pretty close. The sensitivity and length of time adjustments have both worked as advertised. I’ve read that it’s good to periodically clean the lens with a wet rag and perhaps some windex if the performance starts to become inconsistent. I haven’t needed to do this yet, but will update again in the future.

Ordered this to replace a previous one , same model and less than 2 years old. New one reminded me of 2 year warranty. Notified the company of problem and details, no response.

DID NOT WORK. BOX HAD THE LOOK LIKE IT HAD BEEN OPENED BEFORE AND HAD TWO LOOSE WIRE NUTS INSIDE. RETURNED TO AMAZON AND GOT A REPLACEMENT AND I COULD TELL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE CONDITION OF THE BOX. ALSO THERE WERE THREE WIRE NUTS INSIDE IN A SEALED BAG, UNLIKE THE FIRST BOX DELIVERED

This sensor worked fine to replace the motion sensor model 5413 on my Heath/Zenith flood light model 5412, which had failed & would never shut off (just manual operation, no auto sensor). This sensor is stamped "5411A" on the back, and has all the same controls as the 5413 I replaced. The only difference I could find is that my old 5413 had a green ground wire riveted to the metal name plate on back, where this 5411 sensor has no ground wire, presumably because there is no metal name plate - it is all plastic, with name & model stamped into the plastic.It also includes instruction manual & wire nuts for connecting to existing wires. This replacement installed fine & allows auto sensor function to work as expected, like the original before it failed. I cannot comment on longevity, but I hope it lasts more than 2 or 3 years, which is all we got from the old one.See photos of packaging & contents, including views of back, front & bottom.

Have used many of these devices. including the Heath Zeinith brand. The mounting flange seems to be defective. The threaded device is not long enough to make a good conection.
