Head Hugger - Car Seat Head Support Device That Cradles the Head and Eliminates Pressure on the Neck (Camo)

Wow. What can I say about this product? I purchased this as a hailmary pass to avoid my son's head slapping forward everytime I stopped. I researched this particular head strap and it seemed like the best choice since it's got a three point harness. Boy, was I wrong. The three point harness is cheap and flimsy, very stretchable which you'd think is a solid feature but sadly it's not. The adjustment piece that allows you to loosen the straps is garbage. The strap itself as I said is flimsy but even worse the ends aren't any thicker than the rest of the strap so if you brake too hard the entire strap comes out and renders the entire head hugger useless. I would suggest anyone who is thinking about purchasing this product continue to look elsewhere. I assume that the design thought process behind this strap was either to place the forehead piece under your child's chin or to use it on a seat that is reclined backward which wouldn't need a head hugger for anything more than decoration. So displeased with this product.

Currently using this with an Evenflo Symphony DLX and it isn't really preventing any head slouch when she falls asleep. Maybe her head isn't big enough yet? It does, however provide her with entertainment and distraction for about 5 minutes when we first get in the car and she's buckled but I'm still getting settled and the car isn't actually moving (car not moving=baby disapproval).

Purchased this for a road trip. The headband did stop my son from completely slumming over. However, it does not stay put very well. Some of the issues:1- it slide on my son covering his eyes, even through I had it on his forehead after he fell asleep.2- had to stop the car to put it on my son3- he didn't like it on him

This contraption is a little complicated to attach to the car seat. I bought another one that had more coverage and had a softer feel.

I purchased this for my son due to my fear of him breaking his neck from an abrupt stop. At first it's a lil hard to get on but once you figure out what angle is best for the car seat it's great!

I've had it since 2015. Works great. It's design doesn't let my little ones chin touch his chest or does it slip down to his neck. Most of the negative reviews are not true. Wanted to buy another and it's no longer sold. Simple and easy to use.

Slips down, slips off. It was for my five year old who occasionally still tries to use it. It makes me a nervous wreck that if it slips down and I don't notice it could cause a choking hazard. God forbid it would slip down and we would be in an accident. It would be like a noose. I can't recommend it, unfortunately.

This is a great concept and product, however it's just a hard thing to incorporate into a nap in the car, which we try to avoid in the first place.
