Mr. Jiggles the robotic spider - Works but limbs jitter and shake
See update below.Original review: Used these for several projects including a spider robot. The spider was the largest of the project. All projects had jitters. The jitters comes and goes where the limbs tremble without moving. I have to tap the servo motor with my finger to stop the jittering, shaking joints. I would not buy these gain unless I wanted a project that would freeze in place and tremble.Update: I still have the spider. It seems this low-cost servo motor is entry level. I added stars because the servo motor allowed me build this spider and test it at a low cost. If you want a servo motor at a low cost to experiment, then yes I recommend this product. I have not reviewed my programming to see if I can perfect my programming.I have named the spider “Mr. Jiggles.” Mr. Jiggles spent time at my desk at work and from time to time provided amusement for me and my co-workers as we worked hard to solve customer problems. Sometimes the distraction was enough to trigger my brain to think about the customer problems in a different way.I’ve kept the spider so yes, I can recommend this entry level servo for its cheap entry level into programming a robot. This will get your feet wet without devastating your budget. You can upgrade servos later as you perfect your 3D printing and programming skills. This is a budget friendly servo motor for testing components. I’m sure I could find other uses but in this case - I just wanted to make a robotic spider. I will update my review again so you can see how long the servo motor lasts. My co-workers and I have become fond of Mr. Jitters so I did not replace the servo motors.I hope you found this honest review helpful as you are deciding which servo motor to purchase.

They worked
My husband used these to make mini planes. They worked

Servos require a highter amp rated P/S than identical servos I received in an order 1 year ago.
The item I ordered was 10 servo motors. At first all 10 of the servo motors I received failed to function. I tested them on a servo driver circuit I had. I was able to verify my driver circuit by testing an identical servo motor I had left over from an Amazon order I received a year ago. But then I determined the 10 new servos were not faulty but only required a higher power supply amp rating than the one servo I had from the old order. Using a higher amp rating P/S the 10 new servos ran OK, although 1 of the 10 had a troubling excessive vibration characteristic.

Decent servos but variation in stiffness
These are very similar to the older 10pcs analog servo kits but they do not have a mechanical stop. Instead they can rotate a full 360 when UNpowered and use a 90 degree range of powered motion. The electronics appear to be higher quality too.My only complaint is that some servos are really stiff and others quite loose. By adjusting the enclosure screws to hand tight it is a little better but still a lot of variation.

More than half of them were not good
Never had a servo jump around with a basic arduino sketch that moves servo back and forth. must have gotten a bad batch, I just tossed them - not worth the hassle.

Work well enough.
Their positioning isn't very precise; they don't go back to quite the same position every time but they work well enough for use in toys.

Great value.
Work great, ddurable, as expected, while still being inexpensive. Never had one quit without it being the result of a crash or mishandling by me,

Good value, but
one was DOA, aside from that, good
