FMS Field Macro Support and Clamp System

This will become a great tool for all the Macro photography I do. Glad to have found it at such a good price.

i bought this since it's 50% the price of similar clamps.it's not firm enough to hold a rose stem from moving, kind of moves with the subject.the links are not well made, and snap off quickly.Update: I tried to use it to hold a small reflector indoor.The clamp immediately snapped off. it's clearly a clamp main for hair styling, could't withstand the lightest force.Though I like to support small-time makers and their products, this one could've been made better.Reducing to 1-star.If I were to do it again, i'd buy the 1/4" loc-line links and epoxy better clamps on both sides.

This is sufficient for light work, but doesn't hold very steady if there is more than a barely perceptible breeze. The joints don't lock all that well, and the clamp has popped off a number of times when folding it up to put into my bag. It would be great for a third hand for indoor work, except the other end is a stake, so you'd have to attach a clamp to that.

I was looking to get a plamp, decided on this one. Really like that I'm not tied to the tripod, has a stake, so I can place it any place I want - perfect for outdoor use.

light and small it fits in a utility pocket ,and holds plants and small reflectors steady, I will get alot of use out of it.

Bought this product to hold flowers and reflectors as advertised. When placed in the ground it is 2ft tall, most flowers are taller than this. using a reflector at 2 ft for portraiture must be for very small people or people lying down. pretty useless product. It will gather dust in my bottom draw.For $29.95 this plastic item is worth far less.

This will hold a flower stem stationary in a breeze, but it will not hold a 24-inch diffuser. The concept is good, but I will look for one with a clamp instead of a spike, and heftier support.

The clamp works ok but the clamp (white end) pops off too easily. Yes it can be popped back on easily but I suspect over time with use it will get so loose it won't hold on anymore. The plastic connection part should probably be a little more flexible (less brittle) and encompass the 'ball' it connects to a bit better. It does work but only when handle with extreme care.
