**Q: How much hold does it give?**
A: This product is light and not flaky.  With my hair it holds for one day.  What I really like about this product is it makes my hair easy to comb and soft.  I have been natural about 6 months.

**Q: what does this smell like?**
A: It doesn't really have any smell to me - I use a dab the size of a quarter though, so it might be that I'm not using enough of it to have a smell build up.

**Q: Would this work for coarse, thick, curly hair? Does it weigh hair down?**
A: I have coarse, thick, curly hair and it works well for me-- definitely doesn't weigh it down!

**Q: Would you recommend this product for long coarse, curly, thick, unruly caucasion hair?**
A: Try a sample size first.  The curling Jelly has a tendancy to curly the hair tighter than with other curl defining products.  I suspect that a conditioner would serve you well, but I am no expert.  Consider asking an Aveda professional.  They use superior products that perform well with ALL hair types.
