Previously I had been writing down little notes in a spiral notebook and decided it was time to upgrade myself to something I could reference more easily. That’s when a search for a wine journal brought me to this one and it does not disappoint. The book itself is good quality with decently strong binding, and plentiful pages to allow for a long journey of wine tasting without the worry of having to get another journal anytime soon. While it has a traditional silk-like page holder, I purchased some of those sticky side labels for books or whatever to allow me to organize my journal by wine types, otherwise I will never be able to go back and reference a wine once I have filled out more pages. Still, despite this, the pages go into such great detail about the characteristics of a wine that I don’t even have the vocabulary yet to utilize it all.
