NERD Focus Beverage 24/12oz Cans Reg Flv

First had Nerd Focus at an anime convention of all places where my brothers and I all tried free samples. At that very moment, it was love at first taste. Since then for a number of years they were going in and out of stock at local H.E.B. grocery stores and convenient stores all around the place. They must have been getting rid of stock at a certain point since H.E.B.'s everywhere had large quantities of Nerd Focus being sold for a dollar a can! Needless to say, they didn't last long. 8-10 months since they last went out of stock we assumed all hope was lost. All of a suddenly a miracle happened where the convenient store right next to our neighborhood received one of the final shipments of this stuff when Nerd Focus was still made in Texas. We were certain this was the last there would ever be so we each drank one can and left the big 24 pack we had to sit and be left alone. Then just a few months later, out of nowhere Nerd Focus just showed up on Amazon. At this point Nerd Focus had been out of stock for around 14 months. It may be a little more expensive than before, but it tastes just the same as ever while giving energy as it ever did with no crashes. Nerd Focus has a very unique flavor compared to other energy drinks that is distinctly all its own. Think of a piece of one of those old fashioned plain looking American made hard candies from yesteryear with all it's potency and mouth watering sweetness reincarnated into a beverage. If you like strong potent sweetness, you will love the taste of Nerd Focus. On top of that, the energy it gives is very different than most other energy drinks. Most other energy drinks raise your alertness for maybe 1-3hours at best and cause a downward spiral effect in energy or worse, a crash with both leaving you with less energy than where you started. Nerd Focus is more geared towards keeping you awake rather than a sharp energy spike. The energy effect rises just enough and levels and somewhat maintains itself for 5+ hours, a more subtle longer lasting energy drink if you will. It is a very different kind of energy drink and one I am glad to have back.

Nerd has quickly become one of my favorite energy drinks. The taste is great, and it's woken me up in the morning consistently without giving me the jitters. I love the way it tastes but it is quite strong and can be overly sweet, I really enjoy it over ice for this reason.The only downside I can think of is how hard it can be to find outside of Amazon. It used to be carried at some local grocery stores, and some convenience stores, but I haven't found it since the latest production halt earlier this year. Not their fault at all, but it'd be nice to be able to buy a 4 back instead of having to get a 24 pack.

This isn't just an energy drink like the caffeine and sugar loaded Monster or RedBulls out there - this is the only true *focus* beverage on the market. It relies far less on caffeine and sugars to get you by (though it does have both of those as well) and works with herbal sources to stimulate your body into producing natural energy as though you had actually slept.Above all of that (for some people at least) though, is the fact that it actually tastes great too! Don't take my word for it though, plenty of other reviewers here say the same thing. This is well worth the purchase!

My only complaints are the increase in price and lack of sugar free option currently (the stevia formula from years ago was amazing, I wish they would bring it back). Other than that though this energy drink literally gives you the energy and focus you need to be a nerd without the jitters and foul taste of most energy drinks.

product arrived intact and super fast. i read lots of reviews and was so excited to drink this. Taste was pleasant, but i had no reaction at all. No energy, no focus, nada. Maybe my daily meds have ruined me. i just got 2 cases of Surge and that was a great memory drink, but pricey. I now have a case minus one of a drink that did not work for me. It sure seemed to work for students. Maybe I am too old for focus. Being a child of the 60's i may just have to wait for the law to change so I can go get my focus from smoke. good luck to all who love this. I surely wanted this to work.

Same great energy drink as before. Glad they're selling them again. My number 1 go to energy drink. Only gave 4 stars because one of the cans had a huge dent in it.

My only complaint is that there aren't any on the shelves!!! This is an amazing energy drink! Helped me focus on my ACT test! And it of all energy drink I can really only drink two and the second one is getting increasingly more difficult to drink. I have to mix it. This drink has never let me down! When shall we get more!!?????
