**Q: What size is the drive 1/2" or 3/4"?**
A: 1/2-Inch square drive .

**Q: Will this fit a case 4t- 390 case 580 sl back hoe?**
A: It doesn't fit.

**Q: Exactly where is this tool inserted on the engine? The factory tool had a flange with 3 bolts.**
A: Right side of engine,  at the back remove small flange and insert into hole access to bell housing so that the teeth engage the starter flywheel.

**Q: What about a C-18?**
A: Works for Caterpillar 3200/3406 Series & Mack E-7, E7 ETEC
