I'm just learning Slide
I have dabbled at slide guitar but am still a very raw novice. I wish slides were easier to figure out what size finger they really fit. (like a ring size reference or something). I don't think I have fat fingers but from previous experience buying regular style slides I decided to order an extra-large Black Mountain. That was a good decision. But I wonder how people with thicker fingers than mine manage.Anyway, I found the Black Mountain to be a bit heavy initially but their insert advised practicing with it for 50 hours to get it feeling natural. I haven't gotten that much time in but it is feeling better with each use.I wish it was a bit wider and a bit lighter. But that's probably my inexperience showing.I'm not unhappy with it. Actually, using it has made using the regular slides a bit better.
