Comfortable Hammock, use Care with Netting
I have purchased this hammock and two other double hammocks. I prefer the size of this hammock. With the doubles, extra material folds around me and is quite annoying. I feel snug and comfortable in this one. The carabiners work fine. The ropes included with this are an upgrade since they come with the rope sling to protect the trees you hang from. That said, I prefer 1" nylon looped straps and purchased those separately for weight, length and safety. I put the included ropes with another hammock for my children's occasional use.The tarp is interesting. Because of the shape I felt that I had to hang the tarp quite close to the hammock to get the desired coverage. This was fine except that it made getting into the hammock a bit more tricky. I'm a short but bigger sized guy and pulled the stake up a couple of times while attempting to get into the hammock with the tarp hung low. I also recommend spraying it with waterproofing spray. It's just good practice with camping equipment meant to keep you dry.The netting is the week point of the hammock, as others have commented on. The first time I hung the hammock with the netting suspended, a loop on the netting broken off and the net ripped. I think the key is going to be using shock (bungee) cord to hang the net. Also, I will attempt to hang it a bit looser next time.Yes, there will be a next time. Customer service has been great so far. Although I am outside of Amazon's return window, HoogaGoods responded to my inquiry quickly and offered a replacement hammock.

Bug netting ripped first night.
The customer service before I received the product was amazing. I have not reached back out to them since I received it. I attempted to sleep in it one night and the mosquito netting ripped in two places. It was set up correctly because I had printed out the directions they emailed me beforehand. This was a good thing because they were not printed inside the bad as mentioned. The straps that go around the tree are awesome and super easy and fast to use. The tarp is also great quality. The bug netting just ripped will almost no force applied.

I really enjoy this hammock! It is made of quality material and so far has held up pretty well (no tears). I've even hung in it with two people and was a little worried about the weight, but no issues! The straps are great (the thickness helps protect the trees pretty well) but could be a little longer. There is plenty of included line to tie up the mosquito net and hang the rain cover. My only complaint is the rain cover is fairly small for the size of the hammock. It's not quite long enough to fully cover both ends when you lay in it.

Very disappointing...
As an avid hammock user, I encouraged three of my friends to purchase this hammock because of the price and all that it offered. The hammock claims to hold up to 500 lbs. One friend weighing in at a little over 350 destroyed the hammock simply getting into it. The netting broke as he entered the hammock and the hammock is so narrow, he can hardly lay in it at all. My second friend, also over 300 lbs., ended up falling to the ground injurying his back when his suspension system gave way... My third friend hung his hammock on a recent camping trip to hanging rock, climbed into it and about two hours after falling asleep, fell to the ground when he rolled over and due to the narrowness of the hammock, broke the hammock netting! The netting is extremely poor quality and has broken on all three hammocks! I do not recommend this hammock to anyone who wants to have a good night sleep. The materials are poor quality, the hammock is too narrow and the tarp barley covers the hammock. Please beware of this manufacturer!!!

Junk Rainfly
Got this item a week ago for my first camp trip with a hammock. I set it all up. We had light rain and the rainfly began leaking through causing me to have to leave my trip. Other than that i was comfortable in the hammock. The straps were nice the string for the rainfly was cheap but no big deal.

almost perfect.
The only complaint I may have is the rainfly is not a rainfly. It's a small sunshade. Other than that it's great.
