Delightful!
This was a sweet & comforting read. I loved Lia in Read Between the Lines and I was eager to meet the elusive Grace & see how they would get on. The chemistry between them was fantastic, and I loved how well they worked together when fake dating, with Grace charming Lia’s family & Lia providing Grace with a sympathetic ear without any pity attached.I really liked how their relationship developed - they fought it for as long as they could, but we all knew that the inevitable was going to happen! I could understand Grace’s point of view - she’d had so many bad experiences with commitment & love - but it broke me a little when she left Lia. There’s always going to be conflict in a relationship when someone’s first instinct is to run, but I am glad she found a reason to work through this. I loved how they both encouraged each other to grow, even before they were a couple.

A lovely romance…
Fake dating trope - one bed - opposites attract - road-trip fling, need I say more? This had all my favorite elements and it was an awesome read.Lia needs a date for her brother’s wedding. Enter Grace, who charms Lia’s family and then decides to accompany Lia back to the states to resolve a “mystery” that’s shaped her entire life. 👀The first part of the book is set in London and with the whole fake dating / one bed piece was undeniably fun and hot. However, the book really shined for me during the second part where it got a little more serious but truly romantic. As the two embark on their roadtrip, I loved how bit by bit they start falling in love, even though denial is uttered every step of the way. There’s also oodles of steamy scenes during said roadtrip and the tension between both these characters is super 🔥.I loved both these characters but Grace’s was particularly complex, having had that one incident influence all her decisions and color her view of relationships and love. I also enjoyed Lia and Grace’s flirty bantering, arguing, understanding of each other given how polar opposite they are about approaching problems. Lia being the talker, analyzer type against Grace who’s likes to brood and run away from issues she’d rather not face.Rosie and Jane from “Read between the lines” make an appearance as well and add a lot of lightness to the whole narrative. The angst portion was quite brutal and it had me really feeling for Lia, but at the same time I was commiserating with what Grace was going through. Gah!I was looking forward to this book ever since Lacey announced the plot line and it certainly delivered. “No Rings Attached” is the second book of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone and it definitely was my favorite.

Hearts Deepest Longings
Needing a fake relationship for her brother's wedding, Lia, who's looking for love, wants a real relationship and is ready to settle down agrees to go with Grace if she's willing. Grace who wants nothing to do with love or a relationship and has vowed off dating for the past five years reluctantly agrees to be Lia's date because of their mutual bestfriend, Rosie.A fake date turns into a road trip allowing Lia to return the favor to help Grace after she gets a disturbing email from a DNA site she had registered with trying to find answers to her parents secrets.During the wedding weekend and then the road trip Lia and Grace enjoy getting to know each other and become good friends. Even though mutual feelings form between them, Grace has stated clearly she's not interested in a relationship and Lia agrees to respect that inspite of their mutual attraction and her own desires.Still with the chemistry between them strong, they agree to just kiss, which they engage in quite often and their kisses eventually lead to more, so much more; and their sexual intimacy is sizzling and passionate. However Lia being an upfront communicator and Grace a runner along with shocking news makes for lots of drama and leads to broken hearts and loss of their friendship.Startling answers and a terrible accident bring much needed insight and a second chance to face their hearts deepest longings.

No Rings Attached
This book started slow and it took me a moment to get into it. I do love the main characters and a lot of the non romance part. I can’t believe the ending and how I did NOT SEE THAT COMING! overall a decent book was definitely just slow.

Heart warming, Endearing, Amazing
My idea of a relaxing time is to curl up with a good book, and this book never failed to relax me and give me a whole lot more of feelings. I cried, I laughed, I was surprised, I tore through the pages. This is a book of romance, but also a book of friendship, family and of healing. Congratulations!

So, so good!
I love Lia and Grace so much. You can feel the pain Grace is in due to the misunderstandings that could have been so easily solved! Love this so much.

Cute. Funny. Heartwarming.
Sometimes, what you need it’s just a good romantic read that will lift your spirits up and fill you with so much happiness and love. I can’t get enough of that warm feeling in my chest. Lips turned up in a constant smile, red cheeks from the joy spreading from my heart to my eyes and beyond.Love is a beautiful thing, right? And love is so rewarding to find when you’ve always thought it wasn’t in your genes to find it, running away from it at every chance you had.Love needs a little help sometimes, and coincidences to happen for it to find its way. And what more perfect way to depict it than the way Lia Harris (you might remember her as Rosie’s best friend in Between the Lines, the manager of the bookstore) and Grace Poston (aka Elusive Grace, also Rosie’s best friend, the one who lives in London and never shows up, now a translator for a magazine) meet for the first time on unconventional circumstances. Lia is tired of always showing up at her family’s gatherings in England alone, so Rosie has a brilliant idea of suggesting that Lia and Grace fake to be partners, so that Lia can go through her brother’s wedding without any gossiping or her mother trying to hook her up again with her ex-boyfriend.Lia and Grace couldn’t be more different than each other. Lia is relentless in wanting to analyze every situation, and so open in the way she expresses her feelings. She resents Grace for always standing up Rosie, for never visiting her. But the feeling is mutual, Grace sees Lia as competition, as a replacement of her role as Rosie’s best friend. And it’s their mutual connection to Rosie that make them both agree to this arrangement. They are both not each other’s type, and yet, since the moment they start talking to each other, they can’t stop wanting to know more about the other. The attraction is almost instant and off the charts. Lia is tired of being alone. She feels lonely, seeing all her friends now coupled, while Grace doesn’t do relationships, not even casual sex anymore. Her past has forged her present. There's so much pain and things she has never shared with anyone.Lia is desperately looking for love and Grace is desperately trying to run away from it. A sort of “Catch me if you can” story. "I'll give you my heart, but please don't take it away with you, or I will feel the void, the emptiness of its presence".I simply adored No Rings Attached. It was everything I was looking for these days.First of all, it has a “translator” main character. Thank you for that! I loved the bit where the Lia sounded surprised that Grace, while being a translator, was lacking on her verbal skills showing emotions and how she really felt. Translators can be funny, outgoing… but depending on the reason why you chose this profession… well… you might find yourself happier when writing down how you feel, than verbalizing it to someone. Running away from all the hurt is easier (but equally exhausting) than actually facing it and having to open yourself up and be vulnerable. Grace stole my heart with all the pain she carried in her life. I wanted to strangle and hug her at the same time and tell her: “Stop running! Let someone love you!”.Secondly, the other main character is nerdy, talkative, sweet, sexy, and so understanding. Lia’s love for museums is something I share with her… my wife must bear with me every time we visit a museum (especially one showing art), because it would take us years before we are done with it. She literally took a picture of me taking pictures of all the paintings I loved in the Pinacoteca di Brera, in Milan. That’s why, when Lia and Grace went on a road trip and had this amazing chemistry, getting to know each other and enjoying the way both saw art/monuments, my heart was filled with recognition. I felt “seen”. The T-Rex? Adorable!I also liked the sort of reversed roles of Lia living in New York and having a British accent, and Grace living in London but having an American accent. It was funny and so adorable. No Rings Attached has a lot of cute moments, but there are many heartfelt ones too… and some angst. You can’t let yourself be loved until you are in peace with yourself. The symbolic crossing of the Ocean and the road trips mimic the journey of both Lia and Grace in coming to terms with themselves as individuals and as a couple. You can’t chase forever, and you can’t run forever… there needs to be a sort of bridge between the two opposites. Communication helps. When the bridge is crossed… it’s amazing to witness all the love. Both characters growing up, facing the past and facing the future.I am happy now. I feel satisfied. Best reward when reading a book.

Flight risk
A great book. Lia was my faverite character in the last book. So I was very happy she got her own book.Grace is an American living in London. She is about to meet her nemesis, the woman who replaced her. Lia is a Londoner living in America. She is straight to the point, and faces problems head on. Though she can logically solve most problems she is also stubborn enough to not quit. Grace on the other hand first instinct it to flight. Though these two have many mutual friends, they have never met before and neither had a great impression of the other. However if they can leave their comfort zones they might just be what is what is missing from each other's lives.I like that this book is not just a love at first sight book. There is a lot a development that goes on to get them to the correct point and mutual respect is earned. Great growth for both characters. A great ending to the two book series.
