Nice portable photo exposure/white balance cards
HoneyAce Photography White Balance Card is an essential set for advanced photographer who wants proper white balance and exposure. The set comes with an 18% Exposure Grey Cards, white and black. It is credit card sized and very portable. I keep it in the camera bag to check exposure before a shoot. If the location changes, I can hang it on my neck with the lanyard. But I rather keep it in my photo vest or back pocket. Other larger gray cards are bulky including the foldable ones. But larger size do fill the entire frame better but more of a hassle to store. Portability is why I like this set.Thee cards are plastic coated with a fine matte finish and feels like a credit card in my hand. The 18% gray helps me calibrate my manual exposures and white balance to ensure I have proper exposure to come as close I can to the reference card. That saves a lot of time in post processing.

Credit-card-sized but color-accurate and matte finish, perfect for location shoots
I ordered these to add to my photography gear--my bigger gray card is unwieldy when I'm not in the studio, and I need to travel as light as possible when doing photowalks and location shoots due to my mobility issues. Every extra pound I carry along cuts the time on my feet by about 10%, so the camera, two lenses (macro/short portrait zoom and a longer mirror-telephoto) and a short filter stack plus two spare batteries and a couple of extra SD cards in a belt pouch is about all I really want to carry in addition to my everyday essentials of a small wallet and a water bottle and rescue meds. These fit nicely in my wallet or the belt pouch, giving me a handy gray card and set points for white and black, which makes it very easy to set a base levels adjustment for an entire group of photos shot under the same conditions. These are about the same size as a credit card, and might actually be thicker than my most recent card from my bank. They've got a small hole in one corner for stringing on a keyring, and all surfaces are matte in finish; while the matte isn't absolutely perfectly deep black or bright bright white, it's much easier than carrying around a swatch of velvet and an LED-lit panel for those. The gray is a perfect 18% gray without any noticeable warm or cool color casts, so it's perfect for getting accurate colors. For those mixing paints, these are small enough to hold next to a color you're mixing to gauge whether it's accurate, as well. There's a lanyard included in the package with this, and it's a pretty decent lanyard--satiny woven polyester ribbon, a nylon quick-release buckle, and a D-ring with a lobster clasp and a string for things with finer holes like these cards or an SD reader. It's a nice extra-value bit added to the cards, and very handy for carrying small lightweight objects like these.

Very useful compact cards to get the white balance right
The package came with three reference cards (Gray, white & black) and a lanyard which has a detachable clip. I can either wear the lanyard around the neck or detach the clip and put it in my pant pockets. The cards are nice and compact. The lanyard with the cards weighs 40g.So far, I was using the 12" white balance (WB) card but sometimes it is a nuisance carrying it. So, I wanted something compact that I can carry in my pants or in the camera bag pocket.I shoot photos in RAW format and sometimes RAW & JPEG. With RAW files, I can easily adjust the WB on the RAW files in post processing but modifying it on the JPEG's is a bit of a challenge for me. The camera AWB works alright in daylight but has not worked well for me indoors in mixed lighting. So, I prefer setting the WB before I start taking pictures.I have never used the black card before and do not plan on using it in the future. With the white card, I take a picture with it in the scene and then start taking pictures without the card. I use Lightroom for post processing, I use the image with the card to identify the right color temperature and sync it to other images. The gray card comes in really handy while shooting indoors under mixed lighting. I use the preset WB setting to measure the value and use it. The difference in the color temperature is quite clear in the images when using the AWB vs the preset setting.I like these cards and recommend them. I find the gray card particularly useful in getting the color temperature right and not having to struggle with post-processing on the computer or on a mobile app.

Inexpensive and useful!
I've been doing photography for a long time but have never gotten round to getting a set of white balance cards, so when I saw these I decided it's been long enough and ordered a set. This is a great little product. You get three compact plastic white balance cards in white, 18% gray and black along with a handy lanyard with keeper loop. This makes it really easy to capture a test frame with accurate reference points for white point, black point and exposure that you use in post processing for color and exposure correction.Price on Amazon when I ordered was just $8 which is a fantastic value for a handy set of cards.
