Toy Notch Lost Planet 2 Gtf-13M Evax Action Figure

I have had my eye on this 1/18 scale Lost Planet 2 Gtf-13M Evax desert version for a while now from Top Notch Toys. I finally pulled the trigger and bought one for myself. It is everything I thought it would be and then some. It has great paint applications with weathering aspects within the paint detail. This 1/18 scale Lost Planet 2 Gt-13M Evax is a combination between a mech/vehicle hybrid. It transforms or has two modes: a) hovercraft vehicle mode and b) walking mech (..ish) mode; which transforms fairly easy once you read the nice insert explaining how to do so inside the box. I do not recommend this to young children but to an older more mature collector. The box that it comes in is very nice; the only drawback on the box is that it is very tight trying to slide the toy out from the box. Be patient and take your time sliding the toy out from the box because you will be tempted to just rip up the box to get the toy out. The box is meant to be a show piece right along with the toy so do not tear it upToy Notch has produced some quality 1/18 scale Lost Planet series figures and mechs which is based off their video games which I know nothing about. I have currently the Jungle Pirate, Waysider Femme (..female figure), Jim Peyton figures which are all nice with great articulation and weapons. I plan on getting that Lost Planet 2: 1/18 Scale PTX-140R Hardballer Vital Suit (Desert Version) and the rest of the figures so that gives you an idea what I think of this line of 1/18 scale toys from Toy Notch. ....Now for the question that some of you may want to know; How does this 1/18 scale Lost Planet 2 Gtf-13M Evax vehicle/mech fit into your modern G.I. Joe action figure toy verse? It fits in wonderfully! Modern Joe figures can sit up on the top manning the controls just like the Lost Planet figures as the figures are right about the same scale as each other. I currently have my Pursuit of Cobra Zartan mounted on top manning the controls.

A delightful vehicle and figure. The joints are all nice and tight, and the plastic is tougher than I expected from a smaller toy company.
