Excellent product
An excellent device to salvage old 2.5" hard drives and even make any laptop DVD/Blu-ray drives you might have usable once again (you might need an m-sata to 2.5" converter, though)

Very low parallel processing capabilities, Not recommended for System drive.
I won't state it by the sequencial or random I/Ops but about the real world performance. This is overall a good candidate to use as a backup or quick data moving adapter. However continuous and parallel access to multiple data blocks is a nightmare, might even result in Data corruption. Tested with SSD(kioxia) and over a Network connection, I saw the disk to stall when used with other ongoing file system operation (move/copy). My primary point is it downgraded the SSD to work like HDDs, even worse. But again, if your need is to move large chunk block of data (from camera) or to do backup job, it's pretty nice. Just don't use it for parallel tasks or scheduled parallel backups, rather use sequential (one at a time, or in a chain fashion). Got this for the name of Ugreen, but the price doens't justify the price, hoping that the longevity will embrace that.

Simple to use, worked perfectly
Great value on a well made cable. Plugged it in and it fit perfectly. Allowed me to get data off my dying SSD just before it totally failed. Just as fast as the cable that came with the computer. Highly recommend
