Great product except...
I am not sure how many stars to give this because it is a wonderful product but didn't work out for me. The mask is nice and soft for a good fit and the breath indicator is a helpful feature depending on how easily you can detect your cat's breathing. One of my cats purrs the entire time and is easy to count but the other is quieter so an indicator is very helpful. The inhaler is also a great deal at about one third the price of my existing one. The bad news is that the slot for the actual drug inhaler is too big. I haven't read about this problem here so I am wondering if it is just this one. It did arrive with poor packing protection so maybe it was damaged in a way I can't see. The seller was great to work with and refunded my money right away. I am going to contact them about trying another inhaler and will be sure to update here if things change.

Very helpful for feline asthma
Our cat has asthma attacks. His inhaler fits into the nebulizer and what I do is pump it once (near the cat, but not on his face) and then immediately press it against his muzzle. There's a little chamber that holds the mist until he inhales. I can't say that he loves it, but when he's coughing and I get the nebulizer out, he doesn't run. It offers him quick relief.

Works fine for an inexpensive version
Works fine for an inexpensive version. It's not as sturdy as the more expensive versions of this product. The plastic is thinner, especially the mask part, but it works fine. I don't know how long the valves will function or remain clear from blockage from the medication. Some people commented that the MDI port, where the metered dose inhaler canister is inserted, is too large. I found that on very hot days the plastic port does become softer and, consequently, the opening loosens a little. It's still usable, but you must carefully hold the canister in place. In "normal" room temperature, say below 75-80 degrees, it returns back to normal. I was advised by my vet that the medication will stay in the spacer and should be administered repeatedly until the cat takes in 5-7 breaths. I was, also, told to place the mask right on the cat's face. Some videos show it being held away from the face. When the cat pulls away from it, remove the mask, wait a minute or two and try again. Pet your cat and speak soothingly to reassure him/her. Repeat this until you think the cat has taken in 5-7 breaths. Remember to shake the MDI canister well. If it gets plugged up, the plastic rim, not the canister itself, is washable in warm water.

Great spacer for cats!
I love this. My kitteh is much happier with this getting the medication to her. The only thing that would have been better is an instruction booklet showing how to properly hold it. I figured it out but instructions would have helped. My kitteh's nose is right at the inner opening and if it's not held properly, her nose is not in the right place. Also how to take apart and clean would be helpful. But it's definitely good quality and works very well.

Not very useful
No instructions included. Hole for inhaler insertion is too large- inhaler keeps falling out. Can't effectively dose my cat with this contraption. I am returning it and ordering another brand. Guess you get what you pay for.

To large for average size cat
To big for adult cat. Vet said it was no good and leaked. Spend a little more for the better one. Your cat will thank you and you will have a much easier time.
