It's such a fun toy remote controlled truck, great to play with the kids, I got 3 of them, one for me and two for my kids. We've been having a blast with them.Keep in mind that these are NOT hobby grade RC trucks, they are TOY grade, meaning they don't have proportional steering or throttle control, just on and off (you can't steer just a little, you either steer all the way, or nothing at all, same with throttle, only one speed) BUT, for the price they are unbeatable; I mean you get the truck, remote, and two sets of batteries for about $25, that a great deal.Also, they are are not very fast, not too slow either, so they are great for a first time RC toy for a small child. Their high clearance and the fact that they are crawlers, means they don't get stuck as easy, compared to say, a toy race car or even a buggy, so again, great for first timers.

I rate this 4-5 stars. My 3 and 5 year odl are having a great time with it so far (about 3 weeks). Seems durable and has excellent offroad capabilities. Seems to flip a lot on it's side when it hits a wall or larger obstacle, but its not a big deal. Not very fast but actually perfect for my kids, as any faster would be more difficult to manuever. I chose the racing wheel steering to ease the navigation for my little guy. He is having a blast. Only problem now is I need another for my other kid to stop all the whining ... "my turn!" :)

I bought these for my nephews and after months of taking a beating they are still going strong. For the price these things are great, and the two included rechargeable battery packs really make a difference to keep one on the charger at all times. Another reviewer gave a great tip that I implemented: if you're giving this to a kid then open the box ahead of time and charge the battery - they will want to play with the car immediately!

My boys have loved playing with these RC crawlers! The crawlers are the perfect speed to crawl over and around obstacles.They’re a great toy for the kids to learn fine motor skills and think three dimensionally.The little trucks are tough and the suspension is soft enough to allow the wheels to stay in contact with the ground.Buy extra batteries! Your kids will play with these for hours and hours.

I bought a really fast hobby-grade RC car and I wanted to buy something not quite as intense for my 8 year old son. I thought this would be a good fit, but this RC car is very basic and quite slow compared to the hobby-grade. Of course, one can't adequately compare hobby-grade vs not, but the disparity was so vast that my son doesn't even want to play with this car, and says it's too slow for him. Watch some videos of this unit in action so you know exactly what to expect.

I made mistake of ordering 4 of these as gifts. Well 3 for gifts & 1 for me to check out myself. Good thing I checked them out. None of them lasted over 6 hours of fun driving. I noticed that front motor may die first then rear motor. But after around 6 hours of driving none the 4 were working. Motors poorly made.

My son loved the car, but we had an issue with the remote not working after playing a handful of times. But the company contacted us immediately and sent a replacement when they learned that we had an issue. We were very impressed with the customer service and my son was thrilled to get to play with such a fun rc car again!

The little tires fall off every time we drive this and it takes forever to get them back on the rims. I'm about to glue them on so maybe they will stay. There is also a rubber piece on the controller around the turn knob that slips all over.It's a fun little truck and climbs really well with great suspension for the price.Could have been built a little better as the tire thing is a huge issue.
