So what can I say... I must admit some things. I charge this baby up and the flight time seemd to be ok.......Did a few test runs around the house ....used the camera...it actually worked....BUT THEN...I take it outside and it am having a few control issues.... Hit a couple power lines...but the little bugger held up;;; it did....so I said.. "Hey I am getting pretty good at this...let me got above the power lines".....Oh my goodness it was amazing ...ilke live google maps... I looked down at the vidoe in amazement,...I could see my house....I neighborhood........wait....feed cut...no warning....what happend... i look up and saw my brand new drone float away to where ever land.....So .....wth...It just kept going....Been searching for 3 days no luck. Met alot of neighbors.....This sucks ....just bought one with fly back home mode.....dont get one without it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best drones I have ever bought. I have owned 3 RC Quads until now (2 from aliexpress and this one from Amazon now) and this seemed to have the easiest setup of all. The drone is pretty solid and stays solid in the air without hovering to one side or another.Beginning with the setup:The seller has sent almost everything that you need to get this to work. There are extra screws in case you misplace some.There is also a 8 GB micro sd card that comes attached to the camera. So, it is super easy to setup the camera.The seller has given a USB micro sd card reader to transfer the contents as well. There is also a USB charger and a battery that comes inside the drone.The setup is pretty easy. There are almost 16 screws to be screwed in (if you want all the safety features of the drone). 4 for the base, 4 x 2 for the wing shields, and 4 for camera attachment panel. The camera will just slide to the attachment panel. It hardly takes 5 - 10 minutes to screw in all the screws. The wing blades are preattached and 4 backup wings are also provided.There are 4 x AA batteries required to be purchased separately and they make the remote control work. Once all this is in, just fire up the drone (on/off switch at the back), and then switch on the Remote control, pull the left side lever up and down, and the drone's ready to start.The movements are pretty solid and the drone says still in mid air which is one of the best things to notice about this drone. Since camera + sd card + reader is provided, there is absolutely nothing else needed to get this off the air (except for AA batteries, which you can find anywhere).One funny part is a pair of sunglasses that comes with the box. It is one of those retro sports sunglasses and it certainly looks cool to wear them outside.As for the drone's flying time, I was able to constantly fly it for about 14 minutes, which is pretty awesome considering the battery is only 400 mah. This is without the camera though. The battery is better than the 800 mah ones or other 500 mah ones that I have used before because it weighs close to nothing. This drone is light weight and that is a good boost towards its operation. With the camera, I was able to get ~10 minutes of fly time, but I charged the battery for about 30 minutes before draining it out once again. I believe with a little more charge time, I'll be able to get more time out of the drone.I was able to fly the drone 4 stories above the ground and it was solid. I was able to descend it with a button on the right top of the remote. That is a pricey feature that I have seen on other drones and I really thought it wouldn't work, until I tried it myself. It does!!! Overall, the plastic feels a little cheap but considering the price, features, robustness, and the fly-time, this is certainly one of the best buys.I don't know about the other JJRC H31 drones that sell cheaper than this, but I am guessing they would be missing either a card reader, or the 8 gb sd card, or the camera itself and I would be doubtful if the drone (without any pre-setup), would stay stand still in mid-air (trust me, this is very important if you want to get the hang of the drone controls).Overall, great buy! I have to say this little quad fly's great.I have a DJI and a few 303 Seekers and other smaller quads, but this little quad fly's straight, fast enough o the 3rd setting and no "threat of damage"if if cuts out at 50 ft.First it bounces most of the time but there's no real threat like if a DJI falls from 20 ft;. Who knows what you'll have left.It's challenging (no GPS ,etc so you're on your own.It's fun to mix them up a little. and for the price you can't miss..Stein
