TANDEMKROSS "Maverick Base Pad for Kel-Tec CMR-30 and PMR-30

Works as advertised. Did take me a few minutes to figure out how to install. Some simple instructions included with the product could be helpful.Very pleased that it solved my issues of premature discharge of the clip though. Keltec would do well to either copy this design or at the very least, include (2) with every new PMR-30/CMR-30 they sell. Thank you TANDEMCROSS!!

Dismayed to see these don't come with instructions but, fortunately, the web is full of videos showing how to install these.Helps greatly with the issue of accidentally releasing the magazine on my CMR-30.

These base pads fit the magazines very well. They are molded accurately. The magazines for the pmr30 release easily on their own anyway so I don't see the need for a device to help pull them away. I do think they help stabilize the pistol if shooting from a bench where they can help as a prop. They also make that large grip even larger.

These work very well for their intended purpose, but two of the cases I keep things like these in can just barely accommodate the increased length of the mag.At the range, these are 5-Star. Buy.

Definitely an upgrade that is worth getting. Since the magazines are far from "drop free", and the release is not in a normal place for most, these are a must.

Why Kel-Tec hasn't fixed the mag release problem on the CMR and PMR is beyond me. It's a critical failure point and a simple enough fix. This device shields the mag release on both weapons, and effectively replaces the floor plate of the mag. Made of solid material. I've removed the electrical tape I was using to secure the mag to the grip, replaced the floor plate with this one, and have put the guns through normal use in the woods with no lost mags. Still, for prolonged hikes or hunts, I may put it back as an added precaution. I don't anticipate doing many fast mag changes hunting woodchucks or hiking the back woods... I think it's kind of pricey for a small piece of plastic, but I guess they have to make money.

Makes possible secure one handed mag changes on Keltec CP-33 and looks good. Enough said.

Bought a pair to try-out, can't say I'm sufficiently impressed to purchase another set (I've six other Kel-Tec magazines). I won't buy again, as they don't help to steady my aim, and appearance alone (i.e., exclusivity) isn't a selling-factor for me.
