Not quite as nice as pictured, but still a good value for the price. The wood isn't as rich as pictured (I wasn't expecting it to be at that price) and mine were more gray than brown. Still, I think they look fine on my green wall. The iron hooks seem to be sturdy. I've had them (I bought two to hang side by side in a long hallway) up for a while now, and so far so good. I love that the top hooks really do hold on to your hats, and the wide bottom portion is great for coats that don't have a label or chain to use to hang them.

I love this rack. It was just right in every way but one. The mounting hardware was the same as you would have for a picture frame (triangular hooks) and so any tug on te rack had it coming off the screws. Solution? We drilled two long screws through it and removed the other hardware on back and now it works as intended (see photo). It is also very lighweight despite looking heavy. I also purchased the smaller version for kid coats and had to do the same thing.

Rustic look that matches what we have, 5 large hooks whose shape makes them easy to hang hats and scarves as well as coats, and even gloves can be tucked behind the upper hook. The hangers that come on it are 24" on center which didn't line up with my 16" on center studs on a very small wall section where I hung it. I removed the original hanging hardware from the back and drilled two small holes through the thicker wood section where the hooks are attached, and screwed it flush to the wall into studs, with long black Phillips head wood screws that match the rest of the hardware. Works great, looks great.

Looks great! It's very hard to hang. I was able to put it up by myself, ended up having to take the left and the right hooks off in order to drill a hole through the board so I could insert the bottom screws from the front. The pre-drilled holes are too small to fit the heads of the screws they provided, so you either have to find smaller screws or make bigger holes. Annoying, but now that it's up it looks great and does the job well.

I do love this coat rack but I have to give it a three star due to the poor quality hardware provided and already installed on the hooks. One of the brackets on the back came to us broken but that was easy enough to fix but we've had two hooks come completely off while hanging items on them. One only had a jacket and an empty backpack on it. We had sturdier hardware that we just swapped for the poorer quality ones provided. Though we were able to fix the issues, someone who may not have extra hardware or want to deal with the inconviences that come with it may feel this coat rack is not worth the trouble.

This is a great item for the size and price. It looks good in my home, and I like that it gives you two options to hang it. I took off one star because I could not find a screw that fit into the keyhole openings to hang it and had to use the other mounts it has, which isn't what I wanted to do, but it still worked.

We ordered TWO of these racks. Both came broken with splits in them bc there was not anything packed with them (packaged together) in the box except for a piece of brown paper. Both had to be sent back and we called amazon and they mailed us two more. Both had to be mailed back which was a further inconvenience. However in less than SIX months BOTH have broken again. We have ONLY hung toddler light jackets on the hooks nothing else and the hardware has come off the board. The first time we thought it was because they used short screws. There are TWO ways to hang the rack but just last night the other part broke as well! Very very poorly designed. Very upset. And due to the fact that it has been six months we can not return the product. We are contacting amazon about this as well as the company! Looked like a great product however is only for looks not functional at all. Especially since it was the hardware on the back- both types- (the part you attach to the wall) that broke.

The system to hang this is totally inadequate, in fact it is a joke. Throw away the screws they are too short and insubstantial, remove the silly hangers from the back- you will not believe the micro mini screws holding them- and toss that stuff. Then mark where it will line up with two studs and drill two holes in the mounting plank at each stud, use 4 9x2" multi-purpose screws into the studs. That will hold it. Hook design, spacing and length sufficient to cross two studs are the best features.
