This has been the best customer service experience I have ever been through
Gramophone is an exceptional company more than worthy of a 5-Star review. I purchased a Chord Mojo from them that had a slight manufacturer’s problem, nothing to do with Gramophone at all. I was provided with stellar thorough customer service from beginning to end that resolved my issue. This has been the best customer service experience I have ever been through. At all times I was treated as if my issue was the most important one to them and I am very grateful! As for the Chord Mojo, its excellency speaks for itself. It is the world’s most popular portable DAC/AMP for many reasons. It is by far the best portable DAC/AMP I have ever used. The Mojo doesn’t have a Bass Boost option and it doesn’t need one. It delivers a stronger, punchier & more detailed bass than those that do have a bass boost option (IMO). I have heard many more details in my music now, most I didn’t even know existed. It makes listening to your favorite tracks a new exciting experience again. The Mojo is just simply mind-blowing!!!The Mojo’s outstanding performance is more than worth every bit of extra money you would spend on it rather than settling for a lower priced product. Owning a Mojo leaves you fully satisfied. I don’t have any desire to try and find any other DAC/AMP.

unpleasant customer service, defective unit
I purchased a chord mojo and it arrived making a loud, high-pitched screeching noise while charging. I emailed their customer service and engaged in a prolonged back-and-forth discussion that ended with me stating that a higher amp charger didn't make the noise go away and that I wanted a refund. They spoke to chord and told me I "simply have a lot of power fluctuations which are causing the noise. Swapping out the unit will not make a difference as it is working the way it should."Needless to say, I had researched hifi audio forums and many people said if the noise doesn't go away, it IS a problem with the unit and needs to be swapped. So, I bought the mojo from a different website and lo and behold--no noise! Quiet as a mouse. Guess chord was wrong after all. Next time you decide to call your customers liars, maybe you should actually test the product rather than blaming your customers' "power fluctuations." Oh, and as a bonus, they make you pay for shipping back to them. Thank god amazon has better customer service and comped me. It's a $600 product and they're not even willing to stand behind it. That should say everything right there.
