Bride by Arrangement (Cowboy Creek)

Love this series, hope this is not the last visit to Cowboy Creek. Noah think because of his actions in the war and his disfigurement he does not deserve love. He is wrong, there is someone out there for everyone. Noah thought he liked his solitude but when Constance and her twins show up and start cracking the wall he built around his heart he realized he did want a wife and children. I love books about mail order brides,and historical romances. This book has secrets, fake land deeds, revenge, kidnapping and love. Karen Kirst is one of my favorite authors.

Well its a well enough written book... just atrociously researched.A gun restricted town in 1800s Kansas? Come on! Really? Not within the US territories. It would have been considered unconstitutional even if voted upon by the townspeople (look up the difference between a democracy and a democratic republic) only private businesses would have had the right to deny the carrying of firearms. And that wouldn't even make sense as dangerous as the west was for settlers (even just traveling to town and back). I have no use for stupid Anti American propaganda. *end rant. Not that that is entirely unforgivable mind you. But annoying nevertheless.Otherwise the storyline is intriguing enough for me to continue on, and even enjoy the rest of the book.

Want Ad Wedding was my favorite of this 3-book prequel series for Cowboy Creek, but this one is my absolute favorite. I fell in love with Noah from that first book and love him even more in this one!

Third installment brings together a civil war veteran and a widowed mother of twins...not exactly what either of them planned. The town has lots of unexplained things happening and it takes all of them to find the truth beneath the secrets. Enjoyable historical drama...

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I loved how the author tied up all the loose ends from the rest of the trilogy. I really enjoyed reading Noah's love story - you will not be disappointed if you purchase this book.
