I used these to make small wands for a Harry Potter themed party. With some tweaking, they served the purpose, but there were a few (maybe about 5 or so) that were flat on one side, so I couldn't use them. That said, they weren't splintered, and the wood was quite strong, surprisingly so for the size. I would get these again for a different project that used thin, strong dowels.Pay attention to the size. These are very thin, but again, quite strong.

These bamboo craft sticks are mostly of good straight stock and quality, with the exception of 5 out of the 50, one of which was 2” short, and 4 others were splintered/damaged. However, the real problem for me is that these were advertised as 5/32” diameter, and the average measurement of these sticks with my digital caliper is 3/16” or larger. So as long as you’re ok with the sticks being larger diameter than advertised, these are a good buy. I chose to use these for something other than what I originally purchased them for, so as to avoid needlessly shipping this ‘sustainable and renewable’ item again.

Used these for decoration for my daughters 1st birthday party. They were used inside a vase and were the perfect height. Very easy to paint as well in case you want a diff color.

Not much to say....they were bamboo dowels. They were round and bamboo, and since they didn't work for the project I was working on, they also proved to be excellent fire kindle.

Some were chipped in the middle

Looks to be good product/item that I can use for my woodworking purposes. Would recommend this product/ seller.

great for crafts

About 80% of the dowels had what looked like black burns on them, also some were chipped in the middle. I could only use about maybe 10 or so of them.
