It's kind of the point of the device. **Q: has anyone tried to install this on a 2013 subaru wrx or similar vehicle?** A: This will only work as an add on for a dei remote start or alarm. This will control the keyless entry module. It will also bypass the security in the key. Keep in mind most aftermarket remote start systems and not designed to work with manual transmissions.
