ZZZ PLATYPUS INFUSER

This is three pieces because the bill (being a different color) pops in to the blue body piece. The grey stomach piece is what removes to add the tea. Due to this design, where the opening is so high up on the curve of the body, the used tea swells into a ball inside and you have to use your finger to scoop the used tea out from the inside of the cavity. Simply shaking it or tapping the bottom will not get the used tea out.The platypus hands also don't actually go over the lip of the mug, rather it balances on the bill. As such it frequently falls into the mug, especially if the bill (yellow part) is wet. This means you get to burn your fingers if you want to fish it out of the mug to swirl it around, as it will completely submerge below the water level. It will also fall in the mug once the tea gets too low because it relies on buoyancy to help the bill keep it balanced on the mug edge.It does not stand on its own as is shown in the picture.I wish this was easier to get the used tea out, and that it actually hung on the edge of the mug properly.On the plus side, my tea does't come out the holes and it is "cute". It is also packaged well.

It is very cute but instantly falls into any mug/cup I use it in. Bill and arms are not long enough to hang over edge of mug.

This was okay. I used it for a few weeks, but I could never get the little guy to sink down. It would always float to the top.

Platapus itself is cute, printing on bag is misaligned.

Pretty fun infuser, a little difficult to clean due to the shape but that comes with the territory when purchasing an animal tea infuser.

Arrived quickly and was exactly as pictured. It will make a fun gift.
