Siamese Dream is just great from the first to the last song, feels almost wrong to just name off a few but 'Disarm' went right to heavy rotation on MTV and alt rock stations, and 'Today' seemed to get the same love. But while the radio kids were happy with those two, 'Soma' and 'Mayonnaise' became the live favorites, It was just one of those albums that didn't have an ounce of fluff, any of the tracks could have been picked to be the hit single on the radio. The next album wouldn't have Butch, Collie would be hteir first album without him, but they learned enough from him to make it sound like he had produced it. In short, this is one of those albums where it makes me wonder why producers don't get more credit. Had Bob Rock not have produced the black album by Metallica, they'd be doing no better than Anthrax. But thanks to Bob, they have action figures and their own beer and their own plane.
