This poster print of my watercolor painting of my dear city of Los Angeles where I grew up all my life! This is a skyline watercolor splash painting of Downtown LA called "With Love from Los Angeles". I was inspired to create this beautiful painting as I spend a lot of time in Downtown LA shopping for jewelry supplies or dining there or watching musicals there. I write letters to friends and family with my calligraphy and roller ball pens and they are written with much love from Los Angeles! I painted this abstract colorful painting using high quality Windsor and Newton Cotman watercolors. I painted this with a sunset orange and blue sky with clouds as the background and the buildings are all colorful with shades of yellow, red, burnt sienna, and royal blue. The lines at the bottom represent the infamous LA traffic in downtown many commuters have to sit hours through to get to and from work. I splashed in drops of red and blue watercolor at the bottom of the painting. I wrote in the words "with love from Los Angeles" using blue calligraphy ink. I painted this beautiful watercolor painting on a 11"x14" cold press Strathmore watercolor paper that is acid free, heavy weight, durable. This is a poster print of my downtown LA watercolor painting, which looks great framed in your living room, office, or dining room! This is a POSTER PRINT
