Rub-A-Dub Permanent Laundry Marker Fine Black - Pack of 1

I used this Sharpie Rub-a-Dub permanent marker for several signatures on a few jerseys, and it’s perfect. It survives the wash great, with no bleeding and no loss of quality. That’s the whole reason to buy this instead of a regular permanent marker. You want the autograph to stay put after the jersey gets cleaned, and this did. Lines stayed clean. Color didn’t fade into a blur. It still looks like a signature, not a washed-out smear. If you care about signatures on gear, this is invaluable. I’ll keep one around for that exact job.

I've used this quite a lot and it's reliably good: easy to see, writes clearly, good value for the money. It hold up to laundry and maintains it's color. I sew for people and usually make a simple name label with it to label a tag to sew onto garment bags so that each girl knows her own dress. I also label top/bottom of fitted sheets when all 4 sides look alike. It's handy & useful.

If you need a permanent marker that won’t wash out of clothes…. This is it. I’ve also been using to mark my plant markers, and it has kept the writing even when out in the weather, so far anyway. I started plants in Feb in the greenhouse, planted outside mid-April and currently early July. So far so good.

Works great overall, can bleed a little but only with certain fabrics.

I had to transition to primary contact and M.P.O.A. When returning back home after a short rehab wasn't going happen after a secondary stroke and admission to a Long-term Care hospital occurred. I now have a Long-term Care center and Assisted Living facility Essentials Backpack that I have packed up at all times to rush off back to the hospital or to a visit to her assisted living center One of the items I always keep is my Sharpie Laundry Marker and a couple of unopened ones to share with Amazon product page information included. As I meet new traveler's on my journey as I become more seasoned. As those who helped me when I was new to this caregiver community. As a colorist I had a fondness for the Sharpie brand for years that began with doodling with my grandfather's Sharpies who as a mechanic swore by the brand to mark wires. I didn't know that they did a laundry marker for a long time. I seen a review saying this item is discontinued . Not by the manufacture it's not here on the east coast I have personally seen it at Dick Blick, Hobby Lobby and Michael's Even saw it in one hospital gift shop. I don't doubt the store in their area may have stopped carrying it there because lack of demand. The price I pay here on Amazon with prime can't be beat. $4 or $5 dollars verses well over $10 and as much as $19 locally and At those prices i always choose to leave it hang and have it shipped to me instead. At local prices it wouldn't be easy to share pens with others. Now anyone who knows the brand knows the Sharpie brand bleed through and, that's the same with the laundry markers and that is why I pair this marker with Avery Brand Laundry Labels. To beat the bleed. Here's my hack Step 1 I write grandma name and Room # on my labels Step 2 let the marker dry overnight Step 3 place label on clothing pressing down firmly Step 4 I wash and dry the garment to make sure I got good adhesion and no blurring of the name. We have been very happy with the results and haven't needed to replace any of our labels do to marker fade. Socks and fuzzy socks need replaced after 6 months do to wrinkling but normal Buster Brown socks need replaced about that time any way. Non clothing uses Marking Shower shoes, Slippers, tennis shoes and compression sore booties. Highest possible recommendation

Used to mark socks for assisted living - so far it has made it through 5 washes. with no bleeding and minor fading. I would buy this again.

These markers stay noticeably longer on the inside of clothes after washing than a standard sharpie. We used them for all of he kids clothes and it’s been really helpful. I have rewritten names two times a year as the names fade a little after washing.

This is a great little marker pen for covering up blemishes on fabric. I've used it on a couple of very small white marks, one of which was a bleach mark and it has performed well. Noticed it is more colourfast if you set the ink with heat, ie by ironing the fabric after applying the pen. Haven't used it for writing on fabric but I would say that the nib would be ideal for this, not too thick.

To my surprise, This Sharpie really does stay on your clothes when you wash them and it works extremely well with iron on clothing tags that you can either write people's names on or make custom clothing with. This pen, Although probably not ideal for this purpose, Can probably painstakingly be used to colour in an entire design on a full size item of clothing as well. It would probably take a while though, because it's just a singular standard size Sharpie obviously. I will be buying another one of these again when mine runs out eventually. I would definitely recommend this purchase to anyone looking to mark clothing that's going to be washed and they want the ink to stay.
