This is a great little light that does everything I ask it to do, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. The fittings of this light all fit together well, creating a stable base. The light switch feels solid enough, and seems to be one that will last for some time (the last light I purchased similar to this one, from a different manufacturer, had a bad switch out of the box). The only reason I gave this light 4 stars was due to the power cable being a little bit short. From the point of exit at the first swivel point, the cord is around 48" long. But if you let the cord fall naturally straight down, and measure straight out, you will find the cord is only 20 inches or so. However, I have found to expect this sort of thing and I keep a few short extension cords around the house...It is really not a big deal for me. Also, the light adjusts from 39inches to 64 inches in height. Overall, this is a wonderful light that you will be happy with.

This is a lightweight and inexpensive lamp that, for the price, works fairly well when not overextended or subjected to high expectations. While it's easy to assemble, the design ignores the lever action that the swing-arm creates as you extend it out from the base pole. The lamp then becomes unbalanced (despite the fact that base feels fairly hefty) and will easily fall over. The joint between the swing-arm and the base pole is a hollow tube with a thin plastic insert, and seems the most likely failure point if you manage extended use. Also, the swing arm simply drops in, with nothing to hold it in place -- though there is a screw that works to adjust the swing friction. The switch is on the cord just off the swing-arm, but would be much more convenient on the lampshade. All other elements, while lightweight, seem well enough designed to function for a decent time -- at least until you can source a really well designed/built version. The LED bulb is bright enough for reading & general task work, but does not illuminate a large area.So: it's not a lamp for the children's room, but if you're a careful adult in need of a light that can swing in an arc of 4 to 6 feet from center, it's one of very few contenders and it won't break the bank.

I love these lamps for good value/price point work lights. I bought one, then two more and am now back for three more. I'm putting them at at all of my work stations where I do all of my drawing and engraving. Only gave 4 stars because as someone else mentioned the base could stand to be a little heavier. That being said the lamp won't tip unless fully extended to the side. that and the bulb it comes with is so dim as to be useless; i went out and bought a box of 100watt equivalents.

I needed a swing arm lamp but have never liked the desk mount that most use. This one comes with a desk clamp in case you need it. Very easy to set up and tear down if you need to. It comes with a bulb so it is ready to setup and use right out of the box. I am very glad I decided to purchase this lamp as it has been very useful for my needs.I hope my review was helpful.

The base is not heavy enough if you need to extend the arm out as will tilt over. Which totally renders lamp purpose of why I bought a swing arm lamp in the first place. I had to put a basket of marbles on base to keep in place. Other than that I do like it for looks and price.

Well made and very versatile. The bulb stays cool so you don't overheat when using it. The listing said it was 3000K but the bulb says 6000K, which is a beautiful clean white light so you can see small print or stitches with ease. The stand is not too heavy and very convenient so the lamp can be moved anywhere you need it. I'm very happy with it!

My shipment didn't include the LED bulb. I was pretty disappointed.

It's cool! The gray is not as nice as pictured and it's not as bulky as I had hoped. This is a good lamp for a $30-35 dollar price range, but way overpriced at $65.​
