Great seller. Product is fair for the price.
Seller was good. Very fast shipping. The tool however, is okay. It allowed me to replace a broken valve spring on a VW 2.5L. It gets the job done, but it does not come with everything you need. It comes with a small assortment (3 of each, so kinda useless) of bolts, but they were too long to attach the frames to my cylinder head. So you will need to buy 4 of whatever size bolt goes into your cylinder head. Also, you will probably need an assistant with a cheater bar to hold the spring compressed while you struggle to get the valve keepers back in place. Removing them is easy enough with the help of a magnet, but unless you think you can keep the spring adequately compressed with one arm while you delicately attempt to get keepers in place with your other arm, I'd say you need an assistant.Furthermore, you will need an M6 nut if you want to actually secure the pressing adapter to the arm. It comes with a few (way too many actually) of smooth pins that just fall right out (and down into your cylinder head), so just use one of the provided M6 bolts, and get a nut so you can secure the thing together, so it won't completely disassemble on you during use.All in all, for $30 and a couple bucks for hardware, I'll give it 5 stars because of the price-to-function ratio. There's probably better tools out there, but for the occasional use, it's good.*Oh and there are two attachments in the box that nobody on the internet seems to have needed/used.

using the yaheetech overhead valve spring compressor tool and its a nightmare to work with. I am working on an honda s2000 and it doesnt work well. The supplied bolts are too short, the bolts that connect the arm just slides in and i fear the bolt falling into the motor, very cumbersome to set up and i couldn't get it to line up correctly over the valve stem. not a precise tool and now on the hunt for a replacement tool.

The right tool for the job
Just what I needed. I swapped out valve stem seals on an 8V VW in less than an hour without removing the head and without needing an extra set of hands. Just another example of how having the right tool for the job can make things so much easier -- wish I had bought this years ago...

You'll need more hands, not a one person job, not the best tool.
You need another person or extra arms to be able to push lever down while trying to get your keepers in. Good overall product. Two other pieces come with it, but have no ideas what they are for. Used on a 2015 Audi A3 8V 2.0T CNTC engine.

The product works for a 2004 Volvo V40 gas turbo engine (I assuming for any Volvo engine)
Like: many holes helps to work in different positions in crowded engines (intake/exhaust). It's amazing how easy is to install the valve retainers with this tool in this type of small/crowded/compressed engines. The Lyle magnet tool is working fine to remove the retainers, but for installation you need this tool.Shipment was amazing also.Dislike: the arm is too short to comfortably hold pressing the valve springs. I used a 2' pipe extension to increase the force and it was working great.

Get 1/4 locking pins!
I'm a professional tech, tired of fighting tiny springs and keepers on the two or three engines I do a year. I think this will fit the bill nicely.I have ordered a 1/4 pin (1" grip) to replace the ones it came with (that would just fall out). VTurboWay 2 Pack Quick Release Pin 1/4", Full 316 Stainless Steel, Bimini Top Pin, Marine Hardware, All Parts Are Made of 316 Stainless Steel These are slightly larger (.5mm) than the holes. so a bit of drilling will be required.

Works for 1.8 miata engine
Worked almost perfectly for my 96 1.8 miata. Had to get creative with the mounting locations but I was able to replace all my valve seals, exhaust and intake, with this tool.

Works great on 2.2 ecotec
I bought this after trying to get keepers back in on a 2.2 ecotec for two hours and lots of cuss words. 30 minutes after I opened it the job was done. Worth double the price to me just for that!
