Personalized Copper Ring, 2.5 mm wide, 2 mm thick

A perfectly simple solid copper band inscribed with a name, date or words of your choice. The band is a sturdy 2.5mm wide, 2mm thick 99.9% pure copper that I have hand milled from re-purposed electric cable. The edges are rounded for a super comfortable fit and the ring has been tumble polished to clean and harden the metal then buffed to a brilliant finish. A short phrase, GPS coordinates or name and birth date fit nicely ( depending on size ). The lettering is all uppercase using a very small but very legible 1 mm font. Both inside and outside can be inscribed. There will be a narrow silver line on the ring where the metal was joined. The ring is untreated bare copper. No coatings or sealants have been applied. If you have never worn a copper ring there is a natural reaction that commonly occurs which turns your skin green. It is essentially copper being absorbed through your skin. The metal will also tone quickly as it naturally oxidizes with exposure to salts and oils on your skin. Over time, the oxidation forms a protective layer which reduces the green reaction and leaves a beautiful antique bronze color. If you want to keep the bright copper color and stop the green skin reaction, coat the ring with a couple layers of clear finger nail polish.
