Q: Has anyone compared it to ENO sub7?

Yes, I went with the eno sub 7 after my grand trunk ripped while on the AT. It took months to get a replacement from grand trunk. Not only in the sub 7 almost an ounce lighter, the eno customer service is top notch.

Q: does it come with ropes?

Someone said "paracord works nicely"... I have to take a second to respond to that... Altared is correct whoopie slings would work for suspension... they are made from amsteel not paracord but some people confuse them... But you can not use amsteel or paracord legally in many forests as tree straps. putting 200 lbs of pressure on something the width of that cord will damage the bark and kill the tree. You must also add a set of 1.5 to 2 inch wide tree straps to the mix. Q: what is the size of this hammock ?

This is a single person hammock. At 6'2" it's doable and comfortable but could be a bit larger. At 5'4" it's pretty awesome. But for a lightweight option it's perfect, just check your person for sharp objects as they can instantly damage the fabric. I don't have the exact dimensions as it is stored for the winter right now. Hope that helps.

Q: Anyone have a recommendation on what to pair with this hammock for when it rains? Rain cover? Tarp? Looking for what would be most ideal.

The best coverage is - as mentioned by others - going to be provided by a rainfly/tarp made and sized specifically for a hammock. I would recommend our All Purpose Rainfly (also found under the "Funky Forest Tarp" name) as it's a more-than-generous 10' x 10' diamond that not only will keep your hammock protected, but afford you some dry space for storing gear, cooking, what have you.
