So the product works pretty well.Positives include:*The safety glove. To be honest I haven’t used it, I tend to go straight to it safety be darned. But nice that it has the option.*The catch all container. This is very handy. I wish it were bigger because I slice a lot of veggies and have to empty it half way through, but awesome aspect.*My kids can use it. With the ease of the container, which makes it easier to handle than the ones with just the handle, safety guard, and glove (they have used it) it is kid friendly. I still watch my boy so he doesn’t chop off a finger or shred a throw pillow, but that’s a personality issue not a structural one. My daughter manages on her own (10&11).*the company’s customer service is excellent and will replace anything that does not perform well.Negatives:*You get what you pay for. I have had it a month and while the blades still slice easy enough, I can tell a difference and see the end coming for the ones I use frequently.* The size wheel warped after the first wash. It may have been me or a technical issue with that one, but I had to call for a replacement. While they were awesome, replaced it quickly with no hesitation, I hate being inconvenienced. The replacement has not had any issues.*Get the black one. I always get white because I can see if it’s clean, however, I sliced sweet potatoes and it discolored the plastic. I bleached it off the hard white surface, but the grip handle is a weird grey orange color now.Overall I would say that it is worth every penny. You may be disappointed in the blades or other things, but I paid $19 compared to 50 - 75 for competitors. I am still pleased with its performance. I accept that I can’t cut tomatoes and I will have to call to get the blades replaced in a few months, but I was trying it out for less than 20$ and I am happy I did!

I have only used this three times and have only used the main blade for slicing. It is very sharp. I hope it does not get dull quickly. For the money so far so good. Use the safety guard and glove. I amputated the tip of my finger on the first use. Seriously sharp. I will update after using the mandolin for a while

Infinitely adjustable thickness without changing blades.Most other slicers have only fixed thickness blades, which is limiting.It came with one metal infused cutting glove, although I ordered a separate pair anyway for $10.I consider the use of the metal woven glove to be ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL for safety due to the sharpness and force involved.These blades could easily take off a finger tip., so be smart and careful.Lastly, the thickness dial can be fully turned all the way to cover the blade for safety.

Excellent purchase. Have used it to slice apples, mangoes, and sweet potatoes for dehydrating and have also used it for shredding cheese and carrots for family dinners. Washes and stores well. Blades on all attachments are very sharp!

Something every kitchen should have. Easy to use, adjustable is the best part, and easy to clean up. I've had many more before but love how this one converts to different heights and cuts. Don't hesitate to get one.

This little gem is amazing!! Very sturdy, easy to use, and very sharp. Probably the best I've ever used. Would highly recommend for all kitchens, and home chefs!

Love this little slicer. It is a bit too narrow for large onions or tomatoes, but for most items it works great. Great value for the price!

So many options, very thought out engineering. This product has the ability to solve many cutting possibilities. Even comes with a cutting glove.
