Exactly what I was looking for. A means of seeing who is outside the door without a WiFi requirement or app.The only issue would be the button clicks loudly when pressed. Otherwise, perfect for what I wanted.

Love this little viewer. I no longer have to strange to see the person on the other side.

It was easy to installHad it for Less than a day it stopped working.I literally installed it tried it out push the button two times an it work fine. I pushed the button for the third time an it had a blank screen. I’ve tried buying new batteries still nothing this one that I have is defective 👎

If you can afford a step or two above this one, I’m sure it’s worth it. The installation instructions are unclear and incomplete. There were no drilling instructions for doors that dont have holes in them already, which ours didn’t. The peephole fell apart into 4 or 5 little pieces while trying to install it, and I ended up having to improvise and use a peephole we’ve had upstairs. Finally got everything working & the picture quality is poor. It’ll do, but it can’t be the best thing out there.

I wanted a viewer to help magnify the image realizing it would have some limitations based on other reviews. I didn't realize this comes with a 9/16" peephole while the existing one is 1/2", and enlarging the hole has its challenges. Not wanting to risk the door I tried it first with the existing peephole. Discovered the viewer only properly centers on 9/16" so I purchased some #8 O-rings to address this. Then I discovered the instruction to make sure the "top" mark is up means it has to be dead center or the viewer will be crooked and the two-sided backing tape on the mounting plate makes it very challenging to reposition. Once installed I found the image quality was OK consistent with other reviews but I could only see straight ahead. This was due to the limited field of view of my existing peephole so I checked the one that was sent. It was better but no where close to the 200 degree peepholes that you can buy at 1/3 the price. If you have an existing 9/16 peephole (or none), pay attention to the "top" being true top and just want to enlarge the view accepting some loss in quality this will work for you but I wound up returning it because the cheaper alternative better fit my needs.
