It does say that size may vary, but mine is only 1 1/4 by 1/2 inches, very much smaller than I had anticipated.2) The chain is of the cheapest quality someone can buy. I came to me twisted and it looks really bad. I will replace the chain with one of my own, but this is still a little irritating.3) The quartz ball on the end is so much smaller compared to the crystal than it is in the picture. It is very small, making it not so helpful for holding the pendulum. It also came with a few dings in it.The positives are that the crystal itself is very nice with varied coloring and good form, and it works well. I had never used a pendulum before receiving this one, and I was a little bit skeptical about it, to tell the truth. The one I got has a crack straight down the center. If I accidentally knock it on something I'm afraid it will break in half. Didn't come with a quartz ball on the end as shown either. Mine came with an amethyst one that I like much better, but even that has a crack running through it. I also received no packing slip if I want to return it. Just came in an envelope (padded). It's pretty. Nice color.
