I buy two different versions of these BNC to HDMI adapters. I’ll buy this one when I am plugging the connection into a computer monitor. It works really well with computer monitors not so much TVs from what I’ve seen. I believe this handles a higher refresh rate and that’s why Don’t quote me on that. All of these BNC signal converters are expensive. I can’t speak for the value of this. I guess it’s good. I just care that it worked and I know it works so I buy this one.Straightforward installation. Handles a variety of different signals. I use TVI more than anything, However, I have Used CVBS With this unit as well and it worked fine.All of these units every once in a while, I have had to reset them to get them to work again. I don’t think that the unit is at fault here. Because I have experienced this with every one of these, I have bought no matter the brand.The quality that comes over is as good as you’re gonna get if you were looking directly at the camera On the DVR. If anything, it’s better than some of the other ones that I’ve bought in the past.

There is a swt that changes the input video format. It works very well. We used a AHD 1920x1080 camera to a HDMI input. Very clear picture. I would recommend this converter.

The units will not work with 8MP cameras, only up to 5MP

It is solid built, very nice and simple. I connected it with a CCTV camera and TV. It is very easy to use. The most important point is IT WORKS.

This comes with usb power supply and micro usb lead.The behavior is to display color bars when there is no signal. When first powered on, or receiving a signal it displays the input resolution/video standard in the corner for a few seconds.The output is user switchable 720p/1080p, and the color space is RGB. It seems to have no problem keeping up with my 30FPS camera.I used it with a TVI camera, and standard NTSC signal from a VCR.The TVI camera signal was recognized quickly, and the resulting image had no issue. The loop output port also works fine here.Analog input (CVBS, NTSC) was acceptable, not great, video gets scaled out to widescreen no matter what. Some scan lines at the beginning, and end of the frame seem to get cut off with the VBI. I had trouble with the output port, I would get monochrome image, bad color shift, or no image a lot of the time.Chips are a STM32 microcontroller, Techpoint TP2830 TVI Chipset (4-channel TVI receiver), ChipAV 2880-EX (or CV2880, video signal processor), and TC9138A (HDMI output, but unknown).

You've seen yourself on a TV as you walk into the store, right? Wire a TVI camera into this converter, then loop out to the recorder. The HDMI output can then send the image to a live monitor. Works great.
