So far so good.
I usually don't buy a non-OEM product/accessory but tried it out this time. I tested the water and it is still a good alkaline water. I will run tap water to test and compare to the filter. Our city sometimes has good alkaline water anyway.

Poor quality
Not sure what is going on, but I guess you get what you pay for. The water does not taste filtered. It does not have a bad taste but something is off, kind of plastic tasting. I tested the unfiltered water supply with a TDS (Total Disolved Solvents) meter and got a reading of 54 (surprisingly, not too bad). When I tested the water once filtered, the TDS rose to a value of 107! It is actually adding something to the water, thus the unusual taste. Not sure if it is safe (made in China?). Ill spend more on the manufacturer filter.
