Hatfield Canadian Bacon 3 Lb (2 Pack)

This is my second purchase. The first had some of the same issues but NOT as bad.PROS: Meaty portions are well flavored.CONS: The "Extra Lean" label applied to this product makes me wonder how bad the NOT-so-lean Canadian bacon is. Many of the white areas on these slices are cartilage—NOT Fat, and can not be chewed, though my dog appreciated them but I didn't buy this to feed to my dog. I admit the pictures are of the worst slices but I had a hard time determining which ones were the worst as the ones that weren't included were only slightly better. A few were really okay but NOT enough to justify more than ONE STAR. I'll put it this way, I have to eat around the bad parts on most slices. I don't consider that acceptable for any food product. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!

Way too spendy but It sure was great. I found a local supply that cost half as much. Still it was great while it lasted.
