Kase-san and Morning Glories (Kase-San, 1) Paperback – Illustrated, February 28, 2017

One of my absolute favorite yuri manga! I'm so happy this has been published in the US! Seven Seas is really doing a fantastic job of finding some good stories and bringing them to us, but this one is one of the real winners! It has a positive message, cute art, and is just one of the best manga out there! (Takashima-sensei is continuing the story with a sequel manga that is currently being published in Japan on the "Flash Wings" manga portal and the "Wings" shoujo manga magazine, starting this past April: "Yamada to Kase-san" or "Kase-san and Yamada" in English. I hope Seven Seas picks that up as well!)

Kase-san and... is the kind of romance I wish I could have had as a teenager. It's sweet, heartfelt, and kind to its characters. The first volume follows a chronological series of stories about Kase and Yamada, who, despite being such opposites, fall in love with each other. Each story is cuter and sweeter than the last. Can't wait to buy the next volume.

The characters are likable and relatable. Takashima-sensei’s story is well-told and Jocelyne Allen handles the language with a deft touch. This volume is the “authentic reading experience” I believe manga fans are looking for. And the story will leave you smiling. This is an excellent Yuri manga for for both new and old fans!

Overall, I did appreciate this manga. I love the art style in particular, and that's one reason I wanted to check it out. The plot is fine, but I feel like it could have had more depth. The last half of the manga was more entertaining because it wasn't about introducing the main characters to each other. Kase-san and Morning Glories is still is a very delightful read, and I'm hoping that the second volume has more of what I'm expecting out of this series.

A great Yuri story for the little sapphic women out there who want a soft kind story, with little moments of anxiety and misunderstandings, but ultimately resolve in a soft loving end. <3 I've read both this and it's sequel and I love both books so far!

Kawaii illustrations! Great story! You'll find yourself being slowly swept away in this too cute highschool tale of two unlikely students falling in love.

This took me by surprise, it'slight and funny with a sense of freshness that I haven't seen in most Yuri.Most yuri seems like it tries so hard to push that,yes, it's actually yuri. This however just feels like a romance which all yuri is meant to feel like but gets so caught up in itself that it dampens what characters are feeling and turns it into most of the time an obsessive thing that's mainly physical. I'm not saying ALL yuri does it but most do.Kase-San and morning glory feels like a simple teen romance, it's got moments of comedic awkwardness and anxiety that are easy to relate to, especially if you've been in love during your teen years. It's not trying so hard and...I can't explain it but it just has a different feel. I would recommend this 100%. Heck, I couldn't put it down after it arrived and as soon as I can I'll order the next volume.

Loving this story as it continues, cute yuri.

I like to read yuri manga and after reading reviews I wanted my own copy. I enjoyed reading it and want to read the second volume to see how the story goes.

Very beautiful book, no sexualisation of lesbian couples, which is refreshing.
