I mostly use it to cook rice in. The only reason I took off a star is because the lid handle is secured on with a screw. I'm not a fan of that. It can easily be taken apart for cleaning, but I would prefer a handle that is riveted on. The price is right for a sturdy, nice weight, non stick addition to any kitchen. The reviews I read on this pan were excellent so I decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did! I love the fact that it comes with protective bags for both the pan and the cover. The glass cover is great so you can see what is cooking and overall I am extremely pleased. I would recommend this saucepan to everyone.
