men of war ultimate collection

Will update this in the future. Initial impression is that of a micro-manager's dream. Must be quick about with the mouse and what as things can happen quickly. You pick everything from the soldier to items in his kit, (which is just a bit more than what I was looking for at this point in time) and then direct how he alone or in groups will use it. Very busy game but well-thought out with what appears to be excellent attention to detail. Many interesting and helpful YouTube videos on this series as well. Saw a few AFTER my purchase.

First I will say that "Soldiers": Heroes of WWII was the 1st WWII pc game I ever played, some 7 years ago. Got it for 7 Euros in the Netherlands and got immediately hooked. Only recently I had the craving to play some more WWII games and found that Men of War is more or less the sequel to Soldiers: HoWWII and found this Ultimate Collection for just $17,00 so I bought it right away. I'm spending my free time playing this game ever since...

i would give a better rating but know where does it say you need internet connection to activate this game . so if you buy it and your away from home and dont have internet maybe you should wait till you get home to buy . also from what ive read online the vender may send a activation code . again no one said anything about that so dont shread the paper work until you check kinda like i did .

Like the first version it's worthy of mention. If you like gaming from this perspective I highly recommend this game.

fun but you have to micro manage every move.The default action of your troops is to commit suicide whenever possible.

The editor patch for Vietnam is available for download, and it's free. So is the editor for condemned heroes. Assault Squad comes with an editor, as does men of war.These games are the gold standard for WW2 RTS, case closed.

Can play them over and over and each time it is totally different, depending on how you move your troops. I can't believe the graphicsand the realism that these games have. The creators have done a great job.

Very fun game! Interface takes a little getting used to- I highly recommend playing Faces of War first to get the hang of it.
