Household Essentials 8002-1 Modular Double Cube Storage Cubby | White

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing a product like this online because there's no telling what condition it might arrive in (I've ordered furniture and whatnot before and it came all banged up). I ordered two of these with the intention of using them as shoe cubbies--smaller shoes definitely fit without issue, however I ended up using these cubes as taller shelves (placed vertically as opposed to horizontal). They look very nice and are very sturdy and very good material given that it isn't made with real wood. Very happy with this purchase.

I’m giving this product three stars only because it was damaged in the corner when I got it and the packaging was not damaged, meaning the product was packed that way. Other than that it was easy to assemble, Saturday and serves its purpose.

Easy to put together--but use a #1 Philips screwdriver--a bigger one will strip the cheapo screws.The wood-look laminate is very thin--scratches right away, so assemble with care and leave it alone.Back panel is optional, and is thin (i.e., don't think of using this with the back as a bottom.

Sturdy. Same build and craftsmanship as the cubes you can get at Target or other stores. However, I only gave it 4 stars because it is definitely not designed to be rotated on to it's side -- unless seeing screws doesn't bother you. Both the bottom and side of the box show the screws that hold it together, so if you flip it you can see those screws (which I find dissatisfying). Otherwise, strong and made the same as any other pressboard box. Easy to assemble. Better screws than the basic Target model.

We hung this on the wall with a couple support brackets in our laundry room bc the built-in shelf is way higher than I can reach. I keep detergent inside the cube along with dryer sheets & color catchers, and keep a bottle of stain remover & the separate detergent we use for our baby on top of it. It's great!!

This is my third purchase of these cubes! I love them! They are easy to put together and look very nice, just like the picture. They are sturdy too. I am using mine to stack and hold my totes in my closet! I would buy them again!

I ordered two of these to prop up some speakers. One of them is perfect condition. However, the 2nd one had one side which was damaged. I put the damaged side on the bottom so it is hard to see, but would be 5 star if the 2nd one was consistent with the first.

As you can see in the pictures I put it together and one of the cam lock screws came through and now I can’t use it for what I purchased it for. Please send a replacement ASAP! Thank you.
