A: It says on the label  “from Ferrochel, Ferrous bisglycinate chelate”. It also has other ingredients like cellulose, glycerin, vegetable sources etc. Nowhere do I see “heme iron”

A: I had to google “halal” so forgive me if I don’t answer your question in the way you need. I can tell you, from looking at the bottle ingredients, they claim to be vegan. I hope this answers your question properly.

On my yearly bloodwork I was told I was low on iron in both compartments that store iron in your body. Something about the main supply and backup supply in your body. Anyway, I was told by my doc to take iron for 6 months and we’ll do another test to see if I’m iron deficient/anemic. Got my bloodwork done after 6 months and my iron levels have now gone back to normal! Never took iron pills before but I researched these since they said chelated and wanted to gain more knowledge. I usually take one pill in the morning with water and sometimes with some OJ about a hour before breakfast. Never had any issues. The pills are small so they’re easy to swallow. Only “negative” would be they kind of taste funny if you don’t drink enough water with it but that’s okay since they actually work.
